Writing and illustrating for children has been prepared for new and established writers and artists to enable them to send their material to appropriate publishers with the minimum of uncertainty as to what is required and by whom. This is in the hope that publishers, too, will receive fewer contributions that do not meet their stated requirements, saving everyone unnecessary frustration and delays.

Ordering
This publication is available from our Libraries. It can also be ordered from the address below. A single copy will be supplied free of charge to libraries in New Zealand, if requested.
For orders of up to and including 3 copies the cost is $5.00 per copy plus $1.00 postage and packing. For orders of between 4 and 10 copies the cost is $5.00 per copy plus $3.00 postage and packing.
