Real time … Real Person … Real help with your homework … AnyQuestions.co.nz and UiaNgaPatai.co.nz
AnyQuestions.co.nz is
a service to give all New Zealand school children their own librarian on-call
to guide them through the internet. It runs from 1 pm to 6 pm weekdays.
Any Questions has live librarians online helping kids find and use quality internet sources for their homework, and aims to help build students' search and information skills. The service doesn't give answers, instead it is designed to guide the students to proper information, and help them gain the skills to undertake future searches themselves.
The site is backed by the Ministry of Education and is staffed by librarians from the National Library of New Zealand and Auckland, Manukau, Wellington and Christchurch City Libraries.
UiaNgaPatai.co.nz is the partner service to AnyQuestions.co.nz. The service is fully available in te reo Maori, is free of charge and open to any New Zealand school students between 1 and 2 pm Monday to Friday.
