The Reading Crusade

Reading Crusade Prize Giving

The 2005 Reading Crusade was wound up on 4 May with a prize giving in the Players' Tunnel at Jade Stadium.

150 excited children from schools throughout the Crusader franchise attended the function, along with Crusaders Reuben Thorne, Greg Somerville and Greg Feek.

7 Crusader for a Day prizes were awarded, with these children winning the right to spend time with the Crusaders in training down at the Crusaders' home base, Rugby Park.

23 other prize packs were handed out as well, and representatives from twelve schools were presented with a special certificate in recognition of their school's outstanding support of the Reading Crusade.

The afternoon was a great success, with plenty of food, fun and tricky questions for the Crusaders (to Greg Feek "Which team is the hardest you've played against?" Answer "Last year when I played for the Blues against the Crusaders").

Major prize winners - Jordan, Corey, Courtney, Arran, Mitch, Yazsmin (and friend)
