Explore the possibilities during Library Week
Are you getting the most out of your library? Library Week (18 to 24 August) is an excellent chance to explore your library and ensure you are making the most of the fabulous resources available to you. A good starting point is our Key Skills page. It will help you learn about how to search the catalogue, and provides ways to search more effectively.
Did you know Christchurch City Libraries offers free access to OpenOffice and Microsoft Office? If you have a laptop or portable device with wireless internet capability Central, South, Upper Riccarton and New Brighton offer free Wi-Fi hotspots. These great services are available to you free of charge.
Our Learning Centres offer courses to help people get hands-on experience with computers and software in all sorts of ways - check out the full list of events on offer and remember if you ever need help, ask a librarian.
