Library a permanent Writers' Festival

After months of planning, The Press Christchurch Writers' Festival is drawing near. A wealth of authors will visit the city early next month. Get your tickets from the Central Library - the ticket desk is located in the foyer by the main entrance and is open 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Saturday. Some events are sold out and others are filling fast, so make sure get in before it's too late.

Christchurch City Libraries will be interviewing authors, attending sessions and posting audio content throughout the festival. Make our blog your first port of call - you can read about individual sessions and have your say about any of the events on offer. Visit the website for our festival home page, with links to author profiles, in-depth interviews and audio content.

Your library's blog and website is a living thing - new content is being added all the time. They are a permanent writer's festival - whatever time of year or the weather!
