World Buskers Festival

The World Buskers Festival takes place every year in late January in Christchurch with a huge range of entertainment on offer.

The festival will be back from 19 to 29 January 2012 as the Stronger Christchurch World Buskers Festival. You can follow the buildup on their blog.

2012’s performers include:

• the ever-popular Funny Bones;
• former Cirque du Soleil artist Christopher Phi;
• local heart-throb Mulletman.

All you need to take along is your humour, sunscreen and a pocketful of change.

This year the festival has been relocated to Hagley Park - renamed as Busker Park for the event. Check out the festival timetable, performers and specific locations on the Festival’s website.
