He Manawa o Te Reo - the Heart of the Language
He Manawa o Te Reo was Christchurch City Libraries’ annual Māori Language Week publication. While we still celebrate the Māori language every year we no longer produce this publication.
We used to have articles from the publication as web pages, but as these were getting very old some contained inaccurate information and have been removed.
Library staff are re-publishing updated versions of some of the articles in the Māori section of this site.
He Manawa o Te Reo is still available as PDF documents, please bear in mind that these are for archival purposes and that the information contained in them may not be accurate.
