My name is Nekeneke-i-te-Rangi Te Tāuhu o Kawatapuārangi Pāoratūroto and I am a descendant of Te Arawa, Tainui and Tokomaru waka. I am the new Kopuka Kai-tūara Māori (Māori Resource Librarian Assistant) with the Christchurch City Libraries network and will be based in the Central library. I enjoy the position and especially the opportunities that it has to offer in terms of working towards linking our people with Mātauranga Māori.
Heoi anō, mā te wā tonu e tū ake hai whakarite, nō reira, mauri ora kia tātau katoa.
