  • Monday 24 July - “Mahi toi” Raranga (weaving) and rock painting.
  • Tuesday 25 July - Komene Kururangi, winner of the Pei Te Hurinui Jones Senior Māori Speech Competition.
  • Wednesday 26 July - Tī Kōuka Whenua: a symbol of our city. The launch of these new web pages will enrich your understanding of the Māori history of Otautahi. Listen to Terry Ryan of the Ngāi Tahu Whakapapa Unit talk about the importance of our Māori heritage in Christchurch.
  • Thursday 27 July - Kapa Haka, a cultural performance by the pupils of Kaiapoi North Primary School.
  • Friday 28 July - Kapa Haka, a cultural performance by the students of Te Matauranga Māori Department, Christchurch Polytechnic.

All events will take place at the Central City Library and begin at 12pm.
