Kooringa, later Waitaitama, 88A Clyde Road, Fendalton

Built in kauri near the confluence of the Okeover Stream and the Avon River about 1898, this was one of the first homes built in Clyde Road. It was built for John Caygill Clarkson (1877-1935) and his wife Elsie Dora (née Ballantyne)
