This was Exhibit L in a successful action in the Court of Appeal brought by George Gould (1865-1941) and the Save the Square Committee against the Christchurch City Council in 1930. The Square is shown before the tram shelter was built, between the Godley statue and the Cathedral, in 1907. The line of the cabstand is shown
