Toby Eady
Toby Eady attended The Press Christchurch Writers Festival from September 4th to 7th, 2008.
Toby Eady is a London-based literary agent who represents Jung Chang Wild Swans and Xinran Xue The Good Women of China. His knowledge of and passion for Asian literature has led him to also represent writers such as Adeline Yen Mah, Zhu Wen and Hong Ying.
Toby is the son and literary executor of renowned novelist Mary Wesley, whose biography, Wild Mary, reveals his unconventional upbringing. He is married to Xinran Xue, the Chinese novelist and journalist, who will be accompanying him to Christchurch.
