Penelope Todd’s writing has taken her in recent years to Spain, to the Chateau de Lavigny international writer's residency in Switzerland, and in 2007 to Iowa for the International Writers’ Programme.
Her 2008 book, Digging for Spain: A Writer’s Journey, is an exquisite memoir that offers a portrait of the growth of a writer, of the challenges of faith, and the route the author has taken to reach a better accommodation with herself, and her family.
