Mobile Library - Waka Hau-kōrero

New fortnightly Mobile Library service timetable

The Mobile Library service connects the community with Christchurch City Libraries by:

  • providing regular services to areas that have fewer physical libraries or libraries under development.
  • promoting access to library services through community events and activities.

There are other ways that Libraries can connect with you. If you find it difficult to access library services due to a disability, illness or other factors that limit your mobility, please talk to us about your needs.

You may like to make suggestions about Mobile Library involvement in community events:

Timetable

  • All service stops are 45 minutes long.
  • In addition to the regular stops listed, the Mobile Library is used for other programmed activities (mostly Wednesdays and at weekends).
  • Please note that the roadside signs indicating Mobile Library parks do not give the exact times as stated below. These signs alert drivers to the fact that the park is reserved for the Mobile Library Bus between the times specified.
  • Paper copies of the timetable are available at any library including the Mobile Library.
