The school holidays are coming to an end, but there is still time to enter our holiday competitions. Make the most of the time you have left and be in to win great prizes!

National Geographic
Teen Music Competition

TEEN SUMMER
M U S I C

COMPETITION

If you are aged between 11 and 18 years you can enter the Teen Summer Music competition. Create a playlist of songs for a movie of your favourite teen novel and/or compose a theme song for your favourite teen novel.
There is also a free music workshop at New Brighton Library this Wednesday, 21 January, from 10am to 3pm. Hear a local DJ speak about composing music and get help from our learning centre staff to create your own song and enter the competition.
Ring 941 5140 to register and save your place.

Summertime Reading Club

Are you aged between 5 and 12?
Have you picked up a Summertime Reading Map from your local library? Hopefully you have returned it to us by now and registered for the prize draw. If not, you have until this Friday, 23 January, to complete the tasks and bring your map back to us, and pick up your badge and sticker. You will be in the draw to win books (10 prize draws for 5 of the year’s best children’s books and your school for 1 prize draw of 50 of the year’s best children’s books) and you might also get an invitation to the summer reading party at Upper Riccarton library on 31 January.
