KidsFootball is played across all ages and levels of competitiveness around Christchurch and Canterbury. Fans of the game can also view games from the Australasian A-League (where New Zealand is presented by the Wellington-based Phoenix) and many of the great competitions of the “beautiful game” on television – British Premier League, Uefa competitions and more.

FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup Comes to Christchurch

Christchurch will be hosting some exciting and skilful games of football when the FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup comes to New Zealand starting in October and finishing with the Final in Auckland in November. Included in the games, is a semi-final to be played at QEII Stadium in November. Football fans can find more about the World Cup and other great footballing resources that we have in the library.
