New Zealand Budget
The 2009 Budget was delivered in the House on Thursday, 28 May by the Minister of Finance, Hon Bill English. The Budget sets out the Government's economic policies and plans for spending public money in the coming year. This is part of the appropriation process, through which Parliament approves such spending.
Paper copies of the budget are available to view in Aotearoa New Zealand Centre.
