My Reading
Turn the "My Reading" feature on to keep a list of the authors/artists of all the items that you have had out from when you turned "My Reading" on. This can be useful if you want to get more items by that author.
Third Party Services
There are a few services that you can use to help you manage your account. Please note that these are not provided by Christchurch City Libraries and may require that you give them access to your account information - if you do so it is at your own risk. We recommend that you read their terms of service carefully so that you understand the service.
Library Elf
Library Elf is a web service that you can choose to use to receive email and/or RSS alerts about items as well as our notices. Its advantage is that it is flexible: you can choose to receive alerts when and where you want and and even get a consolidated list of your or your family's library loans and holds.
January 2009: Library Elf will soon be moving to a subscription based service. Free email reminders are still included. See What's new to learn what is free and what is not.
Library Books
Library Books is an Mac OS X application that tracks the library books you have borrowed. Library Books connects to your library catalogue and downloads the list of books you have checked out. Then books are then displayed the menu bar.
