AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies 10th Anniversary Edition: The American Film Institute’s list of the 100 top American movies (1998). Top spot is taken by Orson Welles’ Citizen Kane.
The bfi 100: A selection of the favourite British films of the 20th century from the British Film Institute. The list was produced in 1999. Topping the list is Carol Reed’s classic The Third Man starring Joseph Cotten and Orson Welles.
