Digital Library Technical Team
The Digital Library Technical Team provide IT Support to library staff and customers. The team runs a library help desk with staff rostered to cover the opening hours of the library.
We support the twenty branches of Christchurch City Libraries including the Mobile bus, the Learning Centres and a charitable organisation called AddingtonNet which provides public PCs to Addington residents.
The services we help provide are free internet at all libraries, wireless access at selected sites, the library catalogue (within the library and over the internet for home use), copying, printing, the library system (circulation, cataloguing, acquisitions), audio-visual experiences (playstations, TVs, Sky, Playaways), web sites and learning (schools and community).
