To join the Reading Crusade, all children need to do is to read 8 great books, either fiction or non-fiction, and send in an entry form (pdf) to Christchurch City Libraries to be in the draw for some great prizes, including the chance to be a Crusader for a Day.

Every child who takes part will receive a Reading Crusade certificate, printed with the signatures of all the 2005 Crusaders Super 12 rugby team.

Winners invited to the prize giving ceremony must be able to make their own way to Christchurch.

Main prize winners must be available for publicity purposes.

Under the terms of the partnership agreement with the Canterbury Rugby Football Union, Reading Crusade events featuring appearances by the Crusaders will be limited to Christchurch city.

Register your school, class or family to be in regular draws for spot prizes during the weeks of the Reading Crusade promotion.

Closing date for entries: 15 April 2005
