- Collection Description Subtitled: The Family Sketch book. Being a record of excursions of interest made by various members of the family. Contents include handwritten accounts and copies of letters recounting local and international trips and journeys mostly made in the 1870s, 1880s and 1890s by the Bridge and Griffin families. Local outings include trips to the Peninsula, Lake Ellesmere and Leeston, Hanmer Springs, Waimakariri Gorge Bridge, as well as Lake Ohau and Mount Cook. Journeys further afield include London, Melbourne and Brussels.

- Parent Collection Description A collection of material related to the Bridge family. There are seven volumes of newspaper clippings, five mostly New Zealand, one overseas (chiefly Europe, 1888-1902) compiled by Marian Bridge, and one, which includes photographs of early Christchurch, compiled by Rev. G. McKenzie. There are also: Family travel book (1864-1902) ; Family records, by M. Hastings Bridge ; Bridge and Hastings family records.
