A trial of a Jelbart oil tractor at Mr C.H. Ensor's White Rock Station

The tractor is hauling a 17-coulter seed and manure drill and four-leaf tine harows. This was normally a seven-horse load when draught animals were used. The Jelbart tractor was built by the Jelbart brothers who originally emigrated from Cornwall, England in the 1800s and established a foundry in Ballarat, Australia
