There is no driver's door, access being from the offside or by climbing through the gap. The windscreen was split to allow the top half to be opened to see through, as there no wipers. The headlights were mounted on the cab, not the front of the vehicle. Tyres were solid at the rear and pneumatic at the front. The handbrake and gearshift were on the right of the driver
Its load is 6 1/2 tons of lax from the Whitanui Milles near Foxton
