Last week Messrs Smith and Co., of Prebbleton, were busy threshing a crop of Tuscan wheat, grown in a paddock of twenty acres on Lincoln road, near Christchurch. The crop was in twenty stacks, and was expected to thresh out about seventy bushels to the acre.
