Caption: Golden wedding at Springfield: Mr and Mrs George Foster. Mr and Mrs Foster were married in England in 1863. In 1880 they came to New Zealand n the Edwin Fox, and settled in Springfield, Canterbury. There are 9 children, 13 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
