The Dalethorpe Dispersal sale.

The Dalethorpe Dispersal sale.

Caption: The Dalethorpe Dispersal sale. Mr Geo. Rutherford having disposed of his Dalethorpe property, the well-known merino and half-bred flock were dispersed by auction on March 19th, and realised excellent prices. Dalethorpe was one of the earliest pastoral selections in Canterbury, having been taken up in the 40’s by the late Messrs Wm. and John Deans, a few years after they had settled at Riccarton. Mr Rutherford became the owner early in 1873, and has resided there ever since. (1) General view of the Homestead Block. (2) Selling the Implements.
