Description: Mr T. W. Adams farmed at Greendale. He served on the Courtenay Road Board from 1873 to 1879 and 1883 to 1887. He gained an international reputation as a forester and proved that Pinus Radiata was suitable for the Canterbury Plains. As an advisor to the Courtenay Road Board, he supervised the planting of Pinus Radiata in major reserves within the district.
