Caption: A plantation destroyed by wind. The nor’ west gale on November 3rd was felt very severely in the Malvern district and at Mr D. Gunn’s Racecourse Hill, in a plantation of 900 full grown pines, 700 were destroyed. We show above a corner of the plantation. The gale was the heaviest known for many years.
