Hinemoana Baker

Hinemoana Baker is one of sixty authors who attended The Press Christchurch Writers Festival from September 4th to 7th, 2008

Hinemoana Baker describers herself as a “musician, writer, sound artist”.

An accomplished writer, she co-edited Kaupapa : New Zealand poets, world issues (2007) and has had two anthologies of poetry published, mātuhi | needle (2004) and kōiwi kōiwi | bone bone (2010).

Baker has been the Arts Queensland Poet in Residence (2009) and a participant of The University of Iowa International Writing Program (2010).
