Elizabeth Knox is the author of eight novels for adults including The Vintner’s luck which has been made into a film, directed by Niki Caro of Whale Rider fame. Knox has also won several personal awards and fellowships, including being an inaugural recipient of a Arts Foundation Laureate Award in 2000, and in 2002 was made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM).
Elizabeth was born in 1959. She studied at Victoria University of Wellington and attended Bill Manhire’s Creative Writing course. She lives in Wellington with her husband and son.
