How would you describe your style of music?

A mixture of jazz, pop and R&B.

What does NZ music month mean to you?

It provides a time for me to promote New Zealand music, including my own original songs.

What's your favourite New Zealand song and why?

Brooke Fraser's song Seeds - it reminds me of my relationship with my grandfather, who recently passed away.

Who's you're favourite NZ artist and why?

Ooh! Tough call between Brook Fraser and Opshop. Both have amazing lyrics, music and performance ability.

Tell us a little about your background - your home, your family, non-musical interests and so on…

My mother was a music teacher and started teaching us at a young age. I gre up in Christchurch and love the city. I studeied at Jazz school and enjoy listening to anything I can wrap my ears around.
