South Library Quilts Display - October 2006

Until Sunday 29 October: Quilting Exhibition by New New Zealanders

Visitors to the South Christchurch library will be able to view the results of many hours of work by a group of new New Zealanders. They work with volunteers to learn sewing skills and improve their English in a relaxed informal setting and make new friends. This group has achieved much in the time it has been going and are pleased to be able to share their work with others and for the public to view the beautiful quilts.

The group meets weekly on Mondays 10am - 1pm at the Sydenham Community Centre. There is no cost to attend. For inquiries please contact Kathleen Burford phone 3225 007.
