Make links to library databases
When you do a search in the Catalogue or CINCH,
the URL that
you get contains information that relates to whether you are in a library or
not and a unique session
variable e.g. http://153.111.60.16/web2/tramp2.exe/see_record/A00ml8ha.003?
server=1home&item=20&screen=Record.html
or http://153.111.60.16/web2/tramp2.exe/form/A00n3rnh.003
Do not try to give the resulting URL to someone else or use it in a web page - because it won't work once your session expires.
This tool provides you with a method to construct a URL that will work for anyone that you can use in an email, or use on a web page, or a printed publication.
Linking to our New Titles pages
Just as with searches you can't use the URLs that you get in the catalogue for our monthly new titles as permanent links. The following URLs will work:

- http://christchurchcitylibraries.com/NewTitles/
- New Audio-Visual
- http://christchurchcitylibraries.com/NewTitles/av.asp
- New Childrens'
- http://christchurchcitylibraries.com/NewTitles/childrens.asp

- New Non-Fiction

- New Young Adults
