The hotel was rebuilt by proprietor Patrick Burke, designed by J.C. Maddison and opened for business 31 Oct. 1900. The hotel was "brick of two storeys, substantially built, and in the Italian style of architecture, freely treated, and finished in cement ". It was demolished in the 1970s
