In 1914 Mrs Isabella Hucks (1866-1936) built the Ozone Café on the north-west corner of Bowhill and Seaview Roads, North New Brighton. This photograph shows the Café in 1922 after it had been gutted by fire. Mrs Hucks promptly had it rebuilt.
