Caption: The Hororata Church, in which the service was held. The children lined along the path belong to the Hororata School, in which Sir John took so kindly an interest. As a matter of fact the deceased extended his patronage to many schools, and his name will ever remain a dear memory to the children of those institutions.
Description: The funeral of former sheep farmer, Statesman and Premier, Sir John Hall, K.C.M.G. who died at his residence Park Terrace, Christchurch on 25 June 1907. He was in his eight-second year.
