Description: The original Catholic church in Leeston. Built in 1869, it measured 40 feet by 20 feet and was built on a site very close to the present Band Hall in Leeston. When the new Catholic church was built the old church was shifted to the new grounds and became a school-room and hall. It was demolished in 1980.
