TranscriptThe acorns of the beautiful oaks in Hagley Park were then put in. One Enoch Barker, an immigrant from Mr Moorhouse’s neighbourhood at Home was at once engaged on Hagley Park. He put in first all the trees, going South from the Hospital to the River. He afterwards had a very fine nursery at what is now New Brighton. |
