The Kinnard-Haines agricultural motor at work near Christchurch

This was the first machine of its class imported into New Zealand. It attracted a large number of spectators at a public demonstration when "very tough old lea ground was ploughed with the ploughed ground being moved with an Austin grader, the ground and machine being kindly lent by the Spreydon Road Board"
