- 122 x 60 cm
The keys on the frame occasionally spell out IT-related jargon such as TCP/IP, Ctrl-Alt-Delete and iisreset – these are terms we use frequently, and reinforce the technical aspect of our work. In addition, the initials of each team member can be found at the bottom of the frame, along with an individually coloured figure representing our presence in the network.
It’s a part of our job to travel wherever we are needed, and that could be anywhere from Halswell to Akaroa in a given week. The network lattice is about people as well as just places and data centres, as each has unique character, significance and configuration respectively.
The PCs with attached keyboards represent the (beloved?) devices we use on a daily basis to work, correspond with, and assist staff. Without them, library life would be very dull indeed.
