Highlights include:
- Recovering Christchurch with Bruce Ansley: Local author Bruce Ansley celebrates Christchurch as it is, and as it used to be.
- The Great NZ Quiz night with Joe Bennett
- Death on Demand with Paul Thomas: Celebrated crime author and sports biographer Paul Thomas will thrill and entertain with a lively glimpse into his latest book.
- Beyond the Cordon with police forensic photographers: What was it like inside the central city after 22-2-11? Come hear Geoff Burns, forensic photographer, share his experiences.

Reading your favourite book in your favourite place: photography competition
Photography competition for 10-year-olds and over: send in a photo of a child reading a favourite book in a favourite place. The winning entry will receive an exciting prize pack and be used in promoting the Library’s Winter Reading 2012 campaign.
Runners-up will also receive prizes. The competition opened Friday 10 February 5pm and closes Friday 16 March 5pm. Find out more about how to enter, and terms and conditions.
