This Act provides for the appointment of executive commissioners, control of the land reserved for the Exhibition and of the Avon River, exemption from the provisions of certain acts, such as the Factory Acts, exemption from Customs duties for imported exhibits and financial arrangements.

This Act makes further provision for financial management, customs and statute exemptions and the supply of electricity.
