St Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch

"Showing the old wooden portion which is 71 years old. This beautiful piece of architecture is to be demolished to make way for a new building". The wooden portion was relocated as the lych gate at the end of the path now leading to the church halls. Cecil Wood (1878-1947) was the architect for the additions in stone and Archbishop West Watson (1877-1953) opened and consecrated the completed church on 20 Apr. 1929
