News about your libraries

The first pre-cast concrete panel of your new Central Library was put in place on Thursday 8 December. Read the latest info and see the webcam for images of progress on the site.

Construction is underway on the Matuku Takotako: Sumner Centre and the Bishopdale Community Centre and Library.

New Brighton's seaside library is being repaired, and the temporary library at 60 Brighton Mall is proving popular with the locals.

Lyttelton Library is operating at the Trinity Hall, and is expected to return to its usual home on London Street in March 2017. Have a look at how the upgrade is going.
